Grades PreK-12
Today more than ever, young people need social and emotional guidance. We aim to support all kids by developing their talents, building self-esteem and social skills, and fostering a positive outlook on life so they can reach their full potential. Our SEL books tackle tough topics, such as anger, stress management, childhood and teenage depression, anxiety, grief and loss, juvenile justice, and conflict resolution.
Grades K-5
We provide a wide selection of nonfiction and fiction books to expose students to a variety of fascinating people, places, and cultures – helping them understand and appreciate different points of view, customs, and traditions. Our books include diverse characters and promote equality and inclusion of everyone.
Grades PreK-2
Introduce early readers to the letters and sounds of the alphabet with these fun and colorful books. These books provide a path for growth by introducing the most common sounds, progressing into vowel rimes and stories, and then learning and recognizing high-frequency words.

Teacher Created Materials has collaborated with iCivics, a trusted partner in civics education founded by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, to create high-interest and motivational nonfiction books. Help students explore social issues, understand government, make logic-based arguments, and consider different opinions. These leveled books address relevant civics topics while guiding students to become civic-minded members of society.
Young readers get an introduction to citizenship and civic action in this series. VERDICT: Highly recommended for classrooms and libraries. Kids will feel empowered to be active members of their communities.
